THE WORK OF STUDIO TEKKEH FOCUSES ON THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT, FRAGMENTS, PUBLIC SPACE AND LAYERS IN SPACE PRODUCED THROUGH A GLOBAL CONDITION. WITH THIS, THE PRACTICE TAKES A CRITICAL APPROACH TO HERITAGE THROUGH THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT BY SEEING IT AS OUR SHARED ARCHEOLOGY.  WITH AN ANALYTICAL, CONTEXT- AND RESEARCH-BASED APPROACH, STUDIO TEKKEH WORKS THROUGH COLLABORATIVE AND PARTICIPATORY PROCESSES IN COMMISSIONED AND SELF-INITIATED PROJECTS AND ATTEMPT TO DESIGN INTERSECTIONALLY SUSTAINABLY.  STUDIO TEKKEH IS EXPRESSED IN ARCHITECTURE, TEXTILE, COLLAGE, PHOTOGRAPHY AND TEXT. After finishing his master’s degree at ETH Zurich, he worked as a co-project leader at BS+EMI, alongside organizing the Iranian Film Festival Zurich and starting the ongoing research project Confusion of Tongues. He is the recipient of the Rosa Schelling foundation grant for young artists and in 2024 he completed a residency at Rhizome in Algiers through a Pro Helvetia travel grant.
